1. Who we are
IISL Underwriting is a trading name of InShare Insurance Services Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12598390. Our registered office and correspondence address is Barrington House, Heyes Lane, Alderley Edge, Cheshire, SK9 7LA.
2. Financial Conduct Authority
InShare Insurance Services Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our Financial Services Register reference number is 965006. You can check our regulatory status and permissions on the Financial Services Register by searching for our company name or reference number.
3. Our role as a Managing General Agent
We work exclusively through insurance brokers. Under delegated underwriting authority agreements, we act on behalf of insurers to underwrite and administer insurance within the authority they give us. The insurer providing cover is identified in the relevant quotation and policy documentation. We are not the insurer and do not provide insurance advice directly to policyholders. Policyholders should speak to their insurance broker about their requirements and the suitability of cover.
4. Policy information and support
Cover is governed by the applicable policy schedule, wording and endorsements. Claims should be notified to the insurer or appointed claims handler using the instructions in the policy documentation. Complaints should be raised with IISL Underwriting unless the policy documentation directs otherwise.
